A tiny cabin sits quietly in the woods at the very end of the road, hovering over a tumbling creek. Craning its eyes up a magnificent wall of grey, brown and lichen covered rock, its rare butterfly roof opens up the view to the full cliffside, while catching water and cradling solar panels. Golden sun floods the house. Giant walls of glass bring the full wonder of the private site inside and allow the owner and four-footed friends to glide without obstruction from inside to out. Its large porch is suspended out in mid-air like a circus acrobat, and serves as a shady canopy for summer nappers beneath.

Designed by Rodwin Architecture.
